Scam company with multiple names and lawsuits
Company has no insurance, no workmans comp, has subcontracted laborers doing the work (migrants) and goes under multiple names: Ellis Painting, Barthel and Sons, John Ellis Painting, etc. The owner owes over $200,000 in NY for work violations and failure to abide by industry standards.

All positive reviews are from owner friends. Take a picture of his drivers license, insurance papers, and workmans comp - you'll need those for court down the road after he destroys your home.
He's been sued at least 7 times in the past 5 years.
I'm not a painter, nor his rival. Just a dissatisfied home owner that regrets I didn't do my research to see who took my money and ran!!!
